The SD1 is a simple SLR camera that lacks fancy features, but it delivers outstanding image quality at low ISOs (100-400). Nonetheless, it disappoints with slow file writing and inconsistent control behavior. Its performance in high ISO images is average, and it lacks the ability to use live view for tripod shooting. It is a specialized tool, but if you can accept its limitations, it has the potential to produce exceptional outcomes.
