The Nikon D800E has a slightly better resolution than the D800, especially at low ISOs and with the right lens settings. Its raw files can handle a strong sharpening process without any noticeable flaws. Like the D800, it has the uncompressed video option, although it is somewhat clunky. However, it is important to note that the D800E is more prone to color moiré in video mode.
