YI M1
- 3.45
- Announced 2016

The M1 is designed with a 20MP Four Thirds sensor that delivers impressive Raw files, providing ample flexibility. The color rendition of the JPEGs is understated, yet the level of detail in well-lit conditions is commendable. However, low light JPEGs suffer from inadequate noise reduction. The autofocus frequently disappoints, struggling to focus accurately on static subjects and becoming even more problematic in low-light situations. The M1 does offer pleasing Full HD video quality, and while its 4K/30p video capability is decent, it is subject to the limitations of the lens used and can result in shakiness due to the absence of stabilization in 4K mode and the inconsistent basic digital stabilization feature in Full HD mode. In video mode, the autofocus functionality is mostly ineffective, often searching for focus and lacking user control over the focus point.
